WKC is planning on our YPTAW programs to be in-person, following NYS, CDC, and Delaware County guidance on Covid-19. If you’d like further information, please email Administrative Coordinator Sarah Weigel at sarah@westkc.org. These schedules and guidelines are subject to change. Attendee parents will be notified of any changes. Changes will not conflict with state and county guidelines.


Play: Stranded
Ages: 9-13yo (by 12/21)
Workshop Fee: $200 (WKC Members); $230 (Non-members)

Dates: July 19 - August 1, Monday - Friday
Time: 11a - 2p 

Tech Rehersal will be Friday, July 30th with extended hours from 12p - 5p

Performances will be on Saturday July 31 & Sunday August 1. There will be two performances each day; the first starting at 12p, the second at 4p


Taught by YPTAW alumna Vanessa Van Burek and Mary Davis. Actors will focus on character development, stagecraft basics, movement, stage presence, music, and improvisational skills, all while developing a strong sense of tribe and passion for theater. The workshop will culminate in four outdoor performances on July 31st & August 1 (rain or shine) as part of the annual Shakespeare in the Valley productions. Attendee capacity is limited. Students must be 9 by the beginning of the workshop. Students who are turning 13 by the end of the year can opt for either Intro OR Shakespeare.
